The Boys of Karadi Mission
These are some of the boys of Karadi Mission. They would benefit directly from the building of the St. Joseph's English Medium & Boarding School. Approximately 35 boys and 35 girls would be randomly selected to attend from the surrounding villages.
Dedication of the cornerstone.
Bishop Peter Machado with the help of Fr. Melwyn D'Souza presides over the dedication of the foundation stone for the St. Joseph's English Medium & Boarding School. The land is owned by the diocese and is a half of block down the road from the church. This property is also adjacent to the convent.
Boys English Medium School & Hostel
An English medium school means that these boys and girls would be schooled English. This provides a huge advantage to future upward mobility.
